Lee Manneberg

Parenting coach - Lee is a brilliant natural leader with exceptional interpersonal skills. She is passionate about changing the world through education and personal example. By using her quick intuitive analysis of complex social situations, she has helped many to resolve conflicts and chart optimal resolution path. Lee is a mother of four and brings her extensive education and experience from many schools of personal development theories. She is a Waldorf teacher by training, led many parent child groups and is a certified coach from strategic intervention.

Tracy Robertson

Tracy is a joy-filled servant-leader. She brings her dedication, education and practical experience in healing the heart of emotional trauma through mentoring and providing a compassionate ear. She is quick to share in depth knowledge and alternative methods to heal the body, soul and spirit. Tracy is a mother of six, and an amazing led home schooling program for most of her children.

Hotel Río Perlas Spa & Resort - This exclusive resort is surrounded by tropical gardens of the rain and cloud forest. Hot spring waters are directed to secret pools throughout the gardens and explorers can bath in them or in the natural clear water stream of refreshing tropical water. The Natural Thermal pools in Rio Perlas are an excellent way to soothe the muscles and relax. Agua Caliente Hot Springs - The renowned hot springs of Pura Pora (Rio Agua Caliente Cartago) are located only 14 km from the Rio Perlas Hotel, on the outskirts of Cartago. The thermal hot springs are considered a natural timeless treasure which has been rediscovered. As one of the world’s most famous historic hot springs, Agua Caliente has been an attraction for thousands of years. The rich attributes and healing powers of this natural wonder have made it a destination among seekers of relaxation and therapy, regarding it as the legendary 'Fountain of Eternal Youth'. The thermal waters reach a temperature of 55°C or 135°F. According to valuable expert opinion and quality chemical analysis of this thermal source, it is far superior to others in the world. There are many benefits for health to the bathers in these springs, from weak stomachs and liver, kidney pains to anemia, rheumatism, paralysis and various skin diseases. What should we bring?

What should we bring?

  • Clothes – Temperatures are very comfortable. They can get to low 60’s at night and high 80’s. It will rain, so extra sets of long and short sleeves cloths are recommended
  • Shoes – flipflops or sandals are appropriate within the facility. However, if you wish to explore some more challenging trails, good hiking boots are necessary
  • Flashlight, walking sticks, bug spray etc – you will be close to nature. Costa Rica has a live and vibrant nature. Expect to see many birds, butterflies and insects. The trails in the resort are easy, but still, caution is required. Please bring what you would need for easy hikes

Special needs

  • Easy access – some of the cabins, especially the ones with the more natural sorroundings and wild views, may have a climb to get to them. The access is paved and the hotel driver will give you a ride when requested but if you think this may be an issue for you, please let us know and we will assign a room that is more centrally located
  • WiFi – There is good signal in all the common areas, large pools, bars and restaurant. Some of the rooms, again, especially the ones closer to nature may not have a signal. Please let us know if it is important to you to stay connected
  • Food allergies – Please let us know of any food allergy or dietary restriction and we will do our best to accommodate

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Payment and Cancellation Policy

A deposit of $600 is required to reserve your spot. The remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to departure.

If cancellation takes place more than 30 days prior to our departure date any payments made will be refunded minus your deposit. If cancellation takes place between 15-30 days prior to our departure, 50% of the trip price will be forfeited. If cancellation takes place less than 15 days prior to our departure date, 100% of the trip price will be forfeited.
